Cheryl Stern is a Broadway veteran actress, a Jonathan Larson award winning writer and private acting coach.  She may be seen as "Ida" on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Broadway credits include the Tony Winning revival of La Cage Aux Folles starring Kelsey Grammer, The Women (Roundabout Theatre- filmed for PBS) and Laughing Room Only. She has  been featured in National tours of Les Miserable, Evita, Fiddler on The Roof and A Grand Night for Singing and countless Off Broadway and regional productions. Cheryl's love of teaching audition technique led her to bring her unique experience to the AMDA community in the integrated Musical Theatre program. Cheryl teaches first semester song performance and Mock Audition classes in preparation for entering the business professionaly. She continues to take great pride and joy educating, learning and growing with each extraordinary class and the AMDA family.
