AMDA salutes graduate Tyne Daly who has won a total of six Emmy awards and holds the record as the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences most honored prime time actress. Notable TV credits include Grey's Anatomy, Judging Amy, Cagney and Lacey and the TV movies, The Wedding Dress (CBS) and Intimate Strangers (ABC). She also won the Tony award for her portrayal of Mama Rose in Gypsy. __________________________________________________________________

After 45 years of leading the way in performing arts training as one of the world’s foremost conservatories, AMDA is now offering innovative BFA programs which provide a total immersion experience for performers. These BFA programs have been developed in response to the demand for a curriculum that combines professional-level conservatory training with academic coursework which leads to a BFA Degree.
All of the coursework has been specifically designed to have relevance for the emerging performing artist. Performance Immersion coursework and Critical Studies / General Education courses have each been created to support and enhance the development of the actor. These programs are designed for highly motivated students committed to developing their craft while engaged in a rigorous academic program.
